DUTIES & TAXES

Modified on Thu, 06 Jul 2023 at 01:39 PM

For International/Overseas Orders:

Please ensure that you make yourself aware of any duties, VAT or import taxes that your shipment(s) may be subject to.

If there are duties or taxes to be paid on your shipment then most likely your local Customs and Excise department will alert you, using the contact details that you provided to us at your time of ordering, and that we then use on the customs documents that accompany your shipment.

At Great Scot we are so very lucky to have customers from all corners of the globe, but this does mean that we are unable to take responsibility for any delays suffered due to customs clearance issues, or held liable for any import duties payable on orders made.

Also, please don't put our customer service team members in an awkward position by instructing them to declare your purchase as having a much lower value than what was actually paid, in order to avoid paying your local taxes. It's illegal for us to do this.

You can be sure that they will always work extra hard to accurately (and legally) help manage any customs exposure in the best ways they can. We want you to enjoy your Great Scot experience to the fullest, irrespective of your location in the world.
